46 10 100 Retaining ring tool Universally applicable for large retaining rings with nominal widths from 400 to 1000 mm. Safe opening and closing of the rings and holding by self-locking precision spindle drive. Assembly or disassembly of the retaining rings in a single operation. Secure hold of the ring by short, direct mountings. Interchangeable tips with Ø 6 mm and 9 mm, for different diameter ranges. Operation either with Allen key, ratchet wrench or cordless screwdriver. Areas of application wherever large shafts and bearings have to transmit very high forces and torques, e.g. wind turbines, tidal power plants, generator construction, hydroelectric power plants, large machine construction (rolling mills, presses), shipbuilding, aerospace. Tool in plastic case with foam insert. Capacity for shaft diameters: Ø 400–1,000 mm Capacity for bore diameters: Ø 400–1,000 mm
